I checked your info...I feel like such a dumb person asking where you are located.

You know I didn't vote for the current administration nor the congress people who back him. I personally attended a tea party demonstration

I worry for our nation and the world with the situation the way it is. Truly. We are quickly loosing our freedoms here...as well as our standard of living. I still wonder what caused all the markets to drop so suddenly. I know all the credit and greed played a part, but there feels like there had to be more to it than that. This supposed crisis is being used to change everything we touch here.

To tell you the truth, I can't understand the American people and the reason they choose this guy. Nobody knows the real reasons for the crisis, even thou everyone is an economist nowadays.
In any case, if Obama was the president of Kenya, I couldn't care less. For heaven's sake, he is the leader of the most powerful country in the World, but he acts as if he was a vassal of some third grade baron in medieval Europe. I don't get it. I've seen many interviews with him. He never ever looks into the camera. He always looks it some vanishing point elsewhere. Like he's afraid to look directly to the public.
I tried to search for his record, what he did in his life that will make him fit to be a president. Nothing. Nada. None. Zilch.
Just promises, that's what he gave the Americans. And promises of the kind that will draw every lowlife on the street to come and vote for him.
"I'll increase social help, I'll give you jobs, I'll will... I will... I will..."
And that was the reason, the half-brain amputees ran to vote for him. The next step will be, he will destroy the America's economy, will increase the debt of US and will increase inflation, because when there's no money to pay for the promises, those guys just print more pictures of the previous presidents.

As for our issue in my initial post - I just hoped, that even thou she's a democrat, her husband has showed how things should be done in the Oval Office. Apparently it wasn't a mistake. There's a link to you-tube video i comments. It's not a mistake, it's policy.
But there was Pharaoh and the Jews. There were Romans and the Jews. There was the Spanish inquisition and the Jews. There was Stalin and the Jews. There was Hitler and the Jews. Well, we're still here. The other guys are not.
We will overcome this one also.

I believe the weak republicans gave this one away. Where were the voices fighting hard against this man? Something lined up just wrong and he is in office as well as he has a majority of his party in the house and senate. I think the republican party has been infiltrated with fakes, just my opinion. Also, our state education has been training our children into a godless society for so long, the morality and the thinking is warped. You are right about the hand outs. We're a large family, my husband only working and I have six children. Still, we don't want the hand outs, we don't want free everything. We know that it will cost us so much more than anyone can imagine. The financial crisis is being used as an excuse. My bet is that this thing has been made worse by our government and they seized upon it. I could understand regulating credit companies, making it harder on those who have maxed out their credit. Softening the adjustment, but allowing people to live on what they earn instead of buying up everything.

I feel there were some environmental policies also that allowed this to happen, companies being pushed into making things a certain way for the environment. Letting our jobs all go overseas because it's cheaper...and what I didn't know about unions (they seemed like a good thing once) is that people were retiring at 50 and living 30 years...getting salaries and the workers were paying for this. The companies couldn't sustain this system forever. So, if the government let the laws change a bit and unions didn't have such a grip...all these companies could have run on basics at least until the economy picked up again. Then, maybe it would have been a cleansing of some things...but as it is no one has learned. Our greed has gotten us here. Even America's churches are in debt for mortgages. Even our Holy places...ridiculous.

You are right about Israel. Even though I am not Jewish, I know we should be on your side. I wish our government had any sense.

I know he went to college...I know he was in the Senate. However, he was not there long. His credentials came from promising change, from using technology to reach the young voters. Many caucasian people are afraid to criticize someone who is from another race because they can be called racist. Being called racist whether you are or not in America can be very costly to your career.

Of course there are those who think the elections were also rigged, maybe some votes were won by intimidation. I personally think even if this is the case, McCain was not going to win whether people intimidated at the polls or not. Sadly, we did not put forth a viable republican candidate. I believe the truth is a conservative is vital to win. However, I could be mistaken. Maybe there's not that many of us left over here....
